SofaShare new version includes a series of new features, and updates on both the front end and back end of the theme. I am going to show you the top features we introduced in the new version and the recent developments in our SofaShare Theme.
Skin Editor: build your own custom skin easily!
Our skin editor lets you create your own colors and stand out from the crowd. Make your own favorite skin, favorite colors and use SofaShare with the colors you LOVE. The skin editor lets you adjust the color for theme, font colors, backgrounds, and more via an ultra-simple color picker and editor. Here is a snapshot of this new feature.

Real-time Activity Feed
This new feature is a widget that display in real-time what is happening on your blog. A neat feature which updates, and in real-time, when someone add a new post, when someone like, or dislike content, when someone follow and unfollow another person, and when someone logs in and logs out. The real-time activity widget shows 9 actions in real-time, It is real fancy addon for busy sites, and community-based blogs.

Show Members List
Since SofaShare is geared towards communities, users, and profiles, it was really necessary to add members list, by adding a widget showing the beautiful faces of your members plus links to their profiles, It really helps and increase the community feel by taking WordPress to a new level. Whether they connect via WordPress, or Facebook built-in connect, it will display their right picture!

A New Skin: Plain
For clean look fans, the new version includes a new style/skin we called Plain. We created that skin in minutes using the built-in skin editor, you can create yours also and with your favorite colors, we know that you do not want to stick to the default look like everyone else!

New System Requires License Validation
I am pleased to announce the release of long-awaited new control panel and framework for our fans. The framework has been implemented into Comfy theme and we have developed tools and features that will make your life easier. License Protection
Comfy v4 provides a new level of protection via a professional licensing mechanism to ensure that only our legitimate customers get hold of our premium theme. Our license keys are verified in real-time and everything is automated, you do not need to get approved or anything. Simply use the key where you wish to install our premium theme.
Comfy theme will not run without a proper validation, therefore we hope that this action stops theme sharing and will make our customers’ experience even better by providing them with fair support and updates.
Upload your custom Logo, or Avatar
The second key feature in this release, that our customers can directly upload their custom logos and avatar via a simple upload form instead of selecting in image file from a list or transferring the image via FTP, or File manager, etc. The framework will handle your uploads perfectly and even store them in a seperate directory.
Import & Export Tools
The new Import and Export tools will make your life easier for sure. They are built to help you to save your work, never lose changes, and give you complete control of your premium theme.
What can you do with the new tools?
- Save your theme files anytime to a ZIP package. Never lose your changes and be safe.
- You can save theme settings with a click of mouse.
- The setting saving feature is very efficient because this will allow you to transfer the settings to any other installation without having to replay the setup.
- Import theme package to replace existing theme files.
- Import theme settings from any valid settings file.
Auto Update
The auto-update tool will make our lives easier. Never ask for an upgrade again, you will even receive real-time notifications of newer versions and install them automatically and directly from your theme control panel. Even better you can re-install the latest version if you want at any time. The auto-update tool will ensure that you can request the latest copy of the product you paid for at anytime, without having to ask for an upgrade.
Get Extras!
We aim to make our theme compact, less size, so our framework offers the option to download/install languages directly from Deluxe Themes server. This is also helpful because you can always receive a list of our most updated language files and therefore you can instantly download new languages, language updates, and so many more.
The new framework has been so far implemented to Comfy theme.

We recommend this emergency update for all NewsWorld users. This small update fixed a few major issues that have been confirmed by our users.
The emergency update has fixed the following issues:
- Incorrect story thumbnail and description when liked or shared via Facebook.
- Incorrect file-linking in header causing server load and invalid requests to the server.
- Strange characters appear in non-English blogs due to lack of UTF-8 support.
The update contains fixes for the above issues. It is mandatory to update/overwrite the following files when you download the update.
Files were changed:
- /lib/hooks.php
- /lib/builtin-functions.php

Introducing Custom Menus support
Enable Custom Menu feature from Theme Options
A lot of users have questioned about the new WordPress custom menus feature, and how would they add custom links or build custom navigation in place of the default, and built-in Comfy navigational menus.
I am pleased to announce that going from Comfy v3.0.8 the theme fully supports custom menus feature and you can easily activate custom menus directly in your theme control panel.
Custom menus come in handy if you wish to create custom links within your menu, mix pages with categories, or display specific menu items. The limitations are simply endless.
